Court Booking Rules

• Members can book badminton and table tennis up to 21 days in advance. When booking 21 days in advance, the new booking sheet becomes available at 6 am.
• Members should select their playing partners/opponents to show on the booking sheets, as this will also facilitate the sharing of booking fees amongst members (see Member Accounts below).
• Non-members/visitors ("casual court bookings") can use the Pay & Play booking system to book 7 days in advance.
• Please note non-member Pay & Play bookings are non-refundable.

• Badminton
  • Members:
    • Peak £13 per hour
    • Off-Peak £11 per hour
  • Non-Members:
    • Adults
      • Peak £16 per hour
      • Off-Peak £14 per hour
    • Juniors £9 per hour, phone 0191 241 5385​ to book
  • Peak Times are Monday - Friday from 9 am to 6 pm.
  • All other times are off-peak

Member Accounts

• Members have accounts within the booking system and must have sufficient credit in order to book courts, sessions, and courses or share booking fees within the system.
• Members can purchase credit (£20 minimum) with any credit/debit card when logged in. Your transaction will be processed by Stripe, and your booking system account will be credited immediately.
• Members can share booking fees by using the facility to Transfer Credit. On the day playing, MYCOURTS will automatically send a Booking Reminder to all members on the booking sheets with a link to share the cost for those who were selected as the playing partner(s)/opponent(s).

Cancellations & Refunds

• Members:
  • When unable to use a reserved court, members should cancel the booking as soon as possible so that the court may be used by others.
  • When the booking is cancelled more than 24 hours before the start time, the booking (and Guest Fee) is automatically refunded.
  • When the booking is cancelled within 24 hours of the start time the booking fee is automatically refunded only if the same court is re-booked by another member.
• Non-Members (Pay & Play / "casual court bookings") are non-refundable within 24 hours but can be rescheduled subject to availability.
